Questions
When does the 2027 Bible reading plan start?
Friday, January 1, 2027, and it ends on Friday, December 31, 2027. Every day has a date, so you always know where you should be.
How much do I read each day?
Usually two Old Testament chapters and one New Testament or Psalms chapter: three or four chapters, about 15 to 20 minutes.
Why read the Old and New Testament together?
Reading both every day keeps the long stretches of the Old Testament from feeling endless, and lets you see how the two testaments speak to each other. The New Testament comes first in the second column; the Psalms follow it in the second half of the year.
What if I start late in January?
Start on today’s date and either skip the days you missed or read a few extra chapters each day until you catch up. Or use the plan generator to make a one-year plan that starts on any date.
Can I print the 2027 plan?
Yes. Download the free PDF for a dated checklist of every day of 2027, or print this page.
